• 300 g. gullac
  • Milk: 2 l. of milk (10 water glasses)
  • Sugar: 800 g. sugar (4 water glasses)
  • 200 g. ground walnuts, hazelnuts or pistachios

  1. Boil the milk with sugar. The goal is to melt the sugar in the milk.
  2. Rest the sugary milk to reduce the heat to a level that it will not burn hands.
  3. Place a rice wafer on an appropriate-size tray with its bright surface facing upwards.
  4. Pour warm milk on it. Continue this process until the rice wafers and milk are finished.
(If it is to be consumed within 1 day, walnuts, hazelnuts or pistachios can be added between the layers if desired.)
  5. Rest the rice wafers desert for 2 hours. Serve it putting walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, pomegranates, cherries or strawberries on it.

NOTE: Rose water or vanilla can be added if desired.
